Devices

The 48 parts Volt has drivers for: declare one by name and the compiler knows its bus, address, wiring and methods.

Declare a device in the hardware block by its name. The compiler fills in the bus, the default address and pins, checks them against your chip, and gives the device its methods. Each page has a complete example you can open in the playground.

A part that isn’t here can still be used: simple parts work as plain pins (an LED as Output, a potentiometer as Analog), and new drivers are published to the Volt Grid from Volt IDE.
